Acrobat to Laserfiche

Send any PDF from Adobe Acrobat Pro straight into Laserfiche with one click — browse to a folder, fill in the template metadata, done.

About This Product

The Acrobat to Laserfiche Connector adds a toolbar to Adobe Acrobat for sending PDFs from Adobe Acrobat to Laserfiche. Clicking Send to Laserfiche opens a simple popup where the user browses to a destination folder in the repository and fills in metadata against the appropriate Laserfiche template, including multi-valued fields such as checkbox lists and multi-line text, then uploads the document. The plug-in remembers each user's last-used folder and template, so repeat sends only take a few seconds.

The plug-in works with both Laserfiche Cloud and on-premises Laserfiche, so it fits whichever deployment a customer already runs. It is a true native Acrobat SDK plug-in, not a fragile browser-extension-style hack. Laserfiche Cloud sign-in uses OAuth2 with PKCE, so no client secrets are ever stored on the desktop, and any locally cached credentials are encrypted with Windows DPAPI rather than stored in plain text. On-premises deployments can instead use Windows Integrated Authentication, so this option also needs zero stored credentials.

For multi-workstation installations, Laserfiche configuration and licensing can be centrally managed rather than configured desktop-by-desktop, so Acrobat to Laserfiche is built for fleet deployment.
